About me

I build products and companies, and help others turn their ideas into successful ventures.

I am a serial entrepreneur, having built five companies, a non-profit, and a music festival. My current focus is on helping businesses to implement AI and automation in their most critical processes.

My career includes working as a cartoonist, medical doctor, CEO, designer, developer, marketer, product manager, recruiter, and consultant in industries such as media & advertising, healthcare, software development, fintech, investment management, and innovation consulting. With a medical degree and a master’s in theatre, I’ve self-taught everything else, from design and software development to managing businesses and leading people.

As a teaching fellow and coach at MIT, I helped co-found the MIT Bootcamps program and collaborate closely with Bill Aulet at promoting the Disciplined Entrepreneurship methodology. I have also worked as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for Techstars and Singularity University, as well as taught Innovation and New Product Development at the Al. I Cuza University.

Born in Iași, Romania, I’ve worked and traveled across the world. I ran a full marathon in North Korea, drank cow blood with the Mursi tribe in Ethiopia, experienced frog poison with the Matses in the Amazon rainforest, learned Spanish via Tinder in Chile, and cooked tajine for Moroccan fishermen.

I’m always open to new experiments and collaborations, so let’s connect!
